April 2, 2015!
Our first day above 60 degrees! Is it a coincidence that this is the first day my flies will be available for sale in the Dallas Tackle Shop? I think not! Be sure to check out all offerings at the shop for the hatches happening soon in Northeast Pennsylvania!
The reason for the not-so-fast-updates
Hunting season has hit Pennsylvania. As for me, I am out nearly every evening with my bow trying to catch a couple 8-points that eat in the fields every evening. When I do get a morning and afternoon to myself, I'm out tossing decoys in the river hoping to get some quackers and honkers to commit.
Orders are being taken care of as they come in, but my stockpiles are not as plentiful as they were this summer. Hopefully by the end of duck season (January 15) and the end of goose season (February 28), I'll be able to have a lot more time to get my supply boxes restocked with dozens of flies, jigs, and spinnerbaits!

Spring is fly fishing season in Pennsylvania, and the hatches are on!!
Even though the spring has been unseasonably cold (thanks to global warming), the fishing has still been good here in Pennsylvania. We're hoping the next few weeks brings some warm weather so that the trout turn on and we can bring you more pictures!
This fat brownie fell for a Woody's Spring Quill size 18.
